Start date: April 1, 2020 End date: March 31, 2025 Funded by: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) This project will provide professional development, resources, and training tools to support the use of l’Evaluation basée sur le portfolio (ELBP) in CLIC classrooms. The project’s activities will clarify processes and support the use of ELBP. CCLB will partner with the developers of the National Curriculum Guidelines, Learning Management System, Tutela, and collaborate with service providers nationally. The project will also include a stronger ELBP presence at conferences to support high-quality settlement programming. While many programs and teachers have successfully implemented ELBP
Start date: January 26, 2022 End date: March 31, 2024 Funded by: Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) CCLB has been funded to review current reading competency levels of English and French Red Seal Examinations as provided by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) using the Canadian Language Benchmarks and Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens. Main Outcome: Ensure consistency of language benchmarks in the development of Red Seal examinations over the years.
