The guide is comprised of four parts that identify the issues involved in teaching French in a minority context.

1. The first section consists of an overview of the Francophone presence in Canada and its challenges.
2. The second section introduces some key national players in the Canadian Francophonie.
3. The third section focuses on the workshops and the potential solutions proposed by language teachers.
4. The fourth section includes useful links where readers can learn more about the Francophonie and teaching in Francophone minority communities.
