This is a full-time position that is primarily remote, with mandatory in-person meetings required at least once a month. Travel may be required for meetings and/or conferences.

ABOUT
With funding from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), we are seeking a bilingual (English/French) Community Outreach Coordinator to connect English- and French-speaking stakeholders with CCLB/CNCLC activities. You will develop and implement an outreach strategy to increase awareness and promote the uptake of our resources and services. This will involve planning and coordinating knowledge-sharing events, responding to stakeholder inquiries, and creating communication tools to facilitate engagement. This position requires occasional travel within Canada to attend knowledge-sharing events, conferences, and related activities. Employees can expect approximately 5 to 8 short trips in 2025, and 2 to 3 short trips in subsequent years. In 2025, the majority of travel is anticipated to take place between September and November.
TERM: Full-time position (36.25 hours per week)
START DATE: July 28, 2025
SALARY: $60,000, based on experience and qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Manager and team members to prioritize tasks, and track progress to ensure that all outreach initiatives meet project deadlines and are executed efficiently. Work closely with key partners to coordinate knowledge sharing events.
- Outreach Strategy Development: Create and implement a targeted outreach strategy to increase engagement with stakeholders in both English and French communities.
- Event Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and promote knowledge-sharing events (e.g., webinars, workshops, meetings) to engage various stakeholders.
- Resource Promotion: Ensure all stakeholders are aware of available resources and encourage their active use through outreach efforts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and questions are addressed effectively.
- Communication Tool Development: Develop clear and accessible communication materials, including brochures, emails, and social media content, to promote CCLB/CNCLC programs.
WHAT YOU BRING
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary certificate in communications, public relations, event planning, customer service, or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in community outreach, communications, or a similar role.
- Fluent in both English and French (written and verbal communication).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with web conferencing software.
- Exceptional organizational and customer service skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create clear and engaging outreach materials.
- Experience with event planning or having assisted in coordinating events.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Assets:
- Knowledge of the CLB/NCLC frameworks and resources is an asset.
- Familiarity with the adult ESL and FSL government language training programs across Canada is an asset.
- Experience working with bilingual communities is a plus.
- Familiarity with Francophonie in minority language contexts is an asset.

This position requires close collaboration with the Project Manager, stakeholders, team members, and external partners to ensure that all outreach initiatives are timely, well-coordinated, and aligned with the goals of CCLB/CNCLC programs.
