Teacher and Assessor Professional Development in BC

The CCLB/CNCLC has received funding from BC Ministry of Advanced Education and the Ministry of the Attorney General for the following:

• Using training materials developed with funding from Alberta Employment and Immigration, deliver a train-the-trainer session for 2 BC trainers who will deliver CCLB facilitated training sessions on the newest CCLB classroom assessment resource: CLB 5-10 Exit Assessment Tasks
• Deliver training sessions in BC for ESL instructors currently teaching students in the CLB 5 + range on CLB 5-10 Exit Assessment Tasks
• Deliver professional development workshop(s) based on the CCLB resource: Integrating CLB Assessment into the ESL Classroom for ESL instructors on Formative Assessment
• Deliver a professional development workshop (Calibration) for CLBPT assessors at Ministry of Advanced Education funded programs
