Format of the Workplace Language Assessment (WLA)

• The assessment includes a number of tasks which measure the candidates' abilities to speak, listen, read and write in English. The tasks are not occupation-specific but are designed to assess samples of language proficiencies required to perform successfully in internships, bridge to employment and training programs.
  
  
• The assessment will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete.
  
  
• There are 2 parallel versions of the WLA, Version 1 and Version 2.
