Registry of CLB Experts

The Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks provides a service for organizations looking for experts on the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB). We can refer you to members of the Registry, all of whom have extensive expertise and background in areas such as curriculum development, assessment, research and materials development in a range of ESL contexts.

Along with their proven presentation skills, they were selected for their demonstrated expertise and leadership roles in CLB-related activities. Depending on the type of service requested, the experts’ charge for service delivery may vary.

Call for Applications (2010) to join the Registry of CLB Experts

Applications may be submitted anytime, however application review will take place at 2 times in 2010: 

June 25, 2010 and December 11, 2010

Clients for services of the Registry include:

  • Workplace programs
  • ESL professional organizations

The members of the Registry include:

  • Teachers
  • Academics
  • Researchers
  • Trainers

Registry members are available to provide services such as:

  • Facilitating workshops
  • Leading professional development projects
  • Conducting research
  • Serving as leaders for change
  • Making presentations
  • Leading teacher in-service projects related to the CLB
  • Providing CLB assessment services
  • Presenting papers on CLB-related topics
  • Participating in panel discussions for CLB-related activities
