CLB Approved Tests

The Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks (CCLB) establishes and maintains national standards to govern a comprehensive national assessment system based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) for use in adult ESL, education, training and labour market.

The CCLB provides a system of recognition for assessors and assessment service providers throughout Canada  including:

• training and certification of CLB assessors
• licensing of CLB assessment sites

The CCLB endorses and supports the following CLB assessment tools:

For CLB Levels 1-8

• Canadian Language Benchmarks Placement Test (CLBPT) - CLBPT
• Canadian Language Benchmarks Assessment (CLBA) - CLBA

For CLB Literacy Levels
